Gem Lake Print

Gem Lake is located in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. The trail begins from the Lumpy Ridge Trailhead. On the 3.4 mile round trip hike, hikers will take in views of Estes Park, Longs Peak and the Continental Divide. The artist experienced the lake for the first time in late winter when the lake was still iced over. While at the alpine lake, two other hikers laced up their ice skates to experience the untamed beauty of RMNP’s winter wonderland views.
